10 Goals to Tackle This Week

I missed posting my goals for last week, so I never updated on the week prior to that. I’m going to update on how I did that week and then post my goals for this week.

Is that confusing? 😉

I’ll just say, “Here is how I did with the goals I posted two weeks ago.”

Family/Mothering Goals:

1. Make another fall treat for our family – something with pumpkin in it – We made pumpkin bread three times that week! It’s a great recipe, and I’m going to share it soon here on the blog.

2. Spend one-on-one time with each child

Personal Goals:

3. Wake up by 7:00am every morning – I’m still going to bed too late and haven’t been able to get into a routine of waking up around the same time each day.

4. Read my bible everyday this week – I read it almost everyday.

5. Have a date night with Ruben

Home Management Goals:

6. Help my daughter organize her desk area…it has started to look like mine.

7. Clean the sink area in the master bathroom

Business Goals:

8. Make screencasts

9. Write 3 blog posts

10. Create a new page on our business website – I created a simple virtual assistance page.

Here are my goals for this week:

Family/Mothering Goals:

1. Make a thankfulness Thanksgiving craft with the kids

2. Make a Thanksgiving treat with the kids

This week I will be making a new pie recipe for Thanksgiving. I am trying out Tar Heel Pie, it is a brownie pie. I am also wanting to get a post up about my Turkey soup kits I make after Thanksgiving too. It should be up before Thanksgiving. I am also hoping to keep my daughter’s cold from spreading to the rest of the family. Hopefully Zicam will keep it at bay for the rest of us. The last time my son had a cold it ended up being a week long hospital stay. :(

I will be looking forward to your new DIY video. We just tried out our video camera. My husband recorded his trip out to the airport. Not too exciting but we wanted to try it out. It worked pretty well but we did learn we need to hold the camera hortizonal not vertical. :)

I hope you have a great week.

Hi Shelly! I hope you have a great week, too!

I hope the Zicam helps you daughter’s cold to leave quickly. :( I remember the hospital stay for your son, and I’ll be praying for your daughter.

The Turkey soup kits sound interesting, and the Tar Heel Pie sounds delicious! I never knew exactly what Tar Heel Pie was, but now I know, so thank you.

I’m going to put together a DIY video for homemade body scrub, I think.

Thank Sandra for the prayers. I am hoping the rest of us stay well. I am looking forward to your new video of the homemade body scrub. I am hoping to give a video a try soon.

  2. Hi Sandra- I just found your blog. Do you list your goals every week? What a great way to keep yourself accountable! I should try something like that. Thanks for the inspiration.

Hi Connie! I do try to list my goals every week, but I do miss a week here and there when I’m very busy. :)

It is a great way to keep myself accountable!
