Losing the Baby Fat: Monday’s Meals

I meant to get Monday’s meals posted on Monday, but I ran out of time. I went to bed around 2:00 am and couldn’t manage to squeeze in that post.

So I’m posting them now, and I’ll post Tuesday’s meals later tonight.

Here’s what I ate on Monday (2/11):

Breakfast: Coffee and juice (carrot, apple, cucumber)

Snack: Juice (carrot, apple, cucumber) and pretzels

Lunch: Homemade meatless chili with spaghetti noodles and water

Snack: Coffee and my 3-year-old’s leftover spaghetti (which he requested when he was “hungry” — I knew better than to give him a lot. It was only a small bowl of sauceless spaghetti with some shredded parmesan cheese.)

Dinner: Mini fish sandwiches, corn, broccoli and juice (carrot, apple, cucumber)

Late night snack with my husband and 1-year-old baby girl: Juice (carrot, apple, cucumber), popcorn (baby girl’s favorite), a few pretzels, and a bowl of oatmeal with granola

I’m looking forward to today’s juices and my morning coffee…

P.S. If you are a new reader and wondering why I’m sharing my meals, I’m doing a partial juice fast as a breastfeeding mom, and I’m sharing what I ate and drank here on the blog for accountability. I’ll be doing this everyday until Friday. :)

    Your fish sandwiches look good. At our local Fred Meyer they have the frozen battered fish that is dairy free on sale. I think I will purchase some to make us some fish sandwiches too. :)
