I know I previously posted the goals I have overall for 2011, but I thought I should make more specific blogging goals than to simply post once a day, which will still be a challenge in itself! I have struggled with being a consistent blogger for awhile and have even thought about taking a long break, but that isn’t what I want either. I love blogging and being apart of a community of women helping other women run more efficient lives to glorify God. So, I think setting goals and then working daily to reach those goals will benefit me greatly and help me overcome the daily challenge to figure out what in the world I am going to write about!
Here are my blogging goals for this year:
:: Post at least once a day, everyday.
:: Finally offer blog design giveaway
:: Follow a consistent schedule for posting
:: Write posts at least one day in advance (I wish I could make it more like one week in advance, but I’m just not there yet!)
:: Make this blog more user friendly in its design
:: Grow subscribers
:: Spruce up my Facebook and Twitter pages to match the look of The Sensible Mom.com
:: Be more active on Facebook and Twitter for this blog
Those are my goals. They’re simple and, hopefully, doable over the next year.
I mentioned in my goals that I want to follow a consistent schedule for posting so that you know what to expect. Here is what I have planned as a posting schedule for now. I’m going to begin implementing it next week since this week has already begun. 🙂
Mondays: Make It Happen Monday, Weight Loss Updates (Yes, I’ve decided to blog about this as motivation and accountability. I’m scared!!)
Tuesdays: Web Design Tip or How-to
Wednesdays: Works for Me Wednesday
Thursdays: Kid’s in the Kitchen (I cook once a week with one of the kids. I’m post pictures of what we made and a recipe to go along.)
Fridays: Frugal Friday
Saturdays: Super Savings Saturday
Sundays: Faith feature
I’m sure I’ll be inspired to write other posts along the way to add more helpful content to this blog, but the above schedule is what I’m hoping to follow for now on a daily basis.
