I made it to Walgreens this week! I’m pretty excited about this because although I’ve been wanting to get back into regular deal-shopping, it’s been hard. I’ve mainly been resorting to looking for deals while I’m at the grocery store, and I try to stay on top of my coupons so that they’re ready when needed!
I’ve been very blessed to find some awesome diaper deals the last couple months which have helped out a lot. I got a pack of the Huggies jean diapers at Jewel for $0.50 after coupon! It was the only pack on the clearance shelf for $2.50, and I had a $2 coupon with me. Another time, I was able to get Mega packs of Jewel brand diapers (60+ diapers?) for only $4.50. One Mega pack is like buying two regular packs so that was a super deal!Β We’re still going through those.
Last Sunday, though, I made a quick list for Walgreens and visited the store near us. I had $4 in expired Register Rewards which were completely useless π so I was starting fresh again.
Walgreens Trip
I got two eos chapsticks.Β These are my favorite!Β And they’re so cute!Β I received one of these for free a while back, and it’s still hasn’t run out.Β I’ll probably give these ones out at Christmas, though.Β I also purchased an Oral-B toothbrush and one Crest toothpaste.Β We can NEVER have enough toothpaste or toothbrushes in this house, especially with a little one who likes to brush spontaneously throughout the day.Β
I ended up spending $9.20 out of pocket (with tax), but I got back $8.00 in Register Rewards!Β And I will NOT be letting these expire!Β
I’m looking forward to this week’s deals!
