I had planned on doing a post on the food changes that we’ve been making in our diet, and I will probably still do that, but I thought that it might be more fun to log my daily meals here for a week so that you can see what a typical week’s meals now looks like for me.
Today’s meals:
Breakfast: baked sweet potato with a tiny bit of honey (I usually have a fruit smoothie for breakfast, but I didn’t want to wake everyone this morning with the blender. I had to leave the house before everyone was awake for a web design class.)
Lunch: spinach salad (this consisted of tomatoes, cucumbers, broccoli, and spinach leaves with some lemon) and celery sticks with natural peanut butter
Dinner: Annie’s organic mac-n-cheese and homemade refried beans with a little cheese and natural blue corn chips
Snacks: nut/berry mix (raw almonds, sunflower kernals, and goji berries dusted with cacao powder) and an organic lollipop
Drinks: water and two cups of green tea (I used to be a regular tea drinker then switched to coffee. I have just almost completely given up coffee (except for rare occasions) and I don’t plan on taking up tea again to replace the coffee. Why? Because I always feel the need to add sugar to my tea. I only had tea today in order to help stay awake in class. I was the only student in this particular class (CSS aka Cascading Style Sheets), and my head still almost hit the table. So glad it didn’t! It’s hard to hide from the teacher when you’re the only one!)
Tomorrow’s meals will have a little more variety because I don’t have class, and I’ll be home to make meals. 🙂
