First, I’ll start off with a review and how I did with last week’s goals:
Family/Mothering Goals:
1. Come up with a family activity for us to do for our Family Day on Friday. (Last week, I got a great deal on a pizza/pop/games package at a local pizza & fun center in our area. Not sure if I can top that this week!) We were going to go to the zoo, but when I started having back pain while walking, too, we decided on plan B. We ended up renting Home Alone 2 from the library and making homemade rootbeer floats. David and Isaac did well with watching the movie, and it kept their attention most of the time. The rootbeer floats were lots of fun, too!
2. Bake with Isaac and David on separate occasions for their “cooking day” with me. I ended up making chocolate chip cookies with Isaac – that were delicious. David and I made breadsticks that turned out just okay, and I threw the recipe in the trash because I know I won’t be using it again.
Personal Goals:
3. Walk for 25 minutes every day this week. I did this intentionally about 4 out of 7 days, so this is something I need to continue to work on.
4. Finish reading One Thousand Gifts by Anne Voskamp and read 4 Chapters from Illustrator CS4 for Dummies. I finished reading One Thousand Gifts, but I only got to Chapter 1 in Illustrator CS4 for Dummies.
5. Wake up by 7:30am every morning. I ended up waking up between 7:30am and 8:00am most days.
Home Management Goals:
6. Go through the piles of old children’s clothing in the garage and figure out what I’m going to sell, donate, and keep. Done.
7. Organize the pantry and remove any expired items. Done.
Business Goals:
8. Get business cards made! I tried to get these done on about 3 occasions but wasn’t able to decide on just what I wanted. I HAVE to get this done this week.
9. Send emails. Done.
10. Spend 15 minutes each day improving one thing on my blog design website,Β Purely Sensible Design.Β I did this all but one day, and I must say that it really helped to focus on doing one thing a day for 15 minutes. I’m definitely going to be keeping this up!
Β Here are this week’s goals:
