Here are some of the things we’ve been doing to enjoy the Fall and time together as a family.
Trips to the zoo. (I think we’ll be going again this Friday for our “Family Day”, and all the walking should help my back pain which has been TERRIBLE lately.)
Blackberry Farm
Family Hayride & S’mores
Ghost cupcakes (My first time ever making fondant – what an experience!)
Field Museum (We visited on their “free day”, and, yes, that’s Sue!)
Shedd Aquarium (free day)
Adler Planetarium (free day)
Homemade Apple Pie with Breanna (This was really good!)
Country Fair (free)
Hockey game (We were given free tickets.)
Chuck e Cheese for Breanna’s B-day, which happens to be in the Fall.
Β Looking back at all of these pictures makes me realize again how blessed we are and how thankful I am that we get to spend so much time together as a family. π

Yes I agree, your pie looks delicious! I’ve never made one, it looks so intimidating! It looks like you guys are having lots of fun! You are a great inspiration to me. I’m going to try to do a family night with my kids again. We kind of started some time ago, we would play board games but we got off track. I wish I could stay home with my kids and spend more quality time with them. I love your ideas. Thanks!!
