We recently got our new business cards in the mail from PrintRunner.
I love the way they turned out. These are, by far, the best business cards we’ve had made so far. I designed them in Photoshop and then uploaded the design to PrintRunner’s website and waited for them to come in the mail. I was a little concerned when I first uploaded them, because the color that I was seeing in Photoshop in CMYK (for Print – stands for Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black) wasn’t exactly the same as I was seeing on PrintRunner’s website after I uploaded the design.
My light blue color looked bright green on the web, but I knew that I was seeing them on the web in (RGB – red, green, & blue), and not in print in CMYK. If this makes no sense, don’t worry about it. π It doesn’t matter.
What matters is that the colors came out just as they should’ve in print, and I love our new business cards!
They have a nice glossy finish, too. Love that.
I tried to create the cards so that they wouldn’t be too girly or too masculine, so that both Ruben and I would feel comfortable handing them out. π
I think I found a nice balance, and we’re both carrying them around now.
Do you have business cards for your blog or business?

Your business cards look like they turned out really nice. I need to get some made up also but I need to take the time to design some. I will keep PrintRunner in mind when I am ready to print mine.

Thank you, Shelly! Getting business cards made is a must for blogging conferences, which I saw that you are going to. How exciting!! I’ve never been to a blogging conference, but it’s a desire of mine. Someday….
