I totally fell off the goal bandwagon the past 2 weeks.
Time to jump back on.
Here are my 10 goals for the week.
Family/Mothering Goals:
1. Memorize a verse of scripture as a family – we’re working on memorizing Titus 3:2 (to speak evil of no one, to avoid quarreling, to be gentle, and to show perfect courtesy toward all people)
2. Read aloud to Isaac and David at least 4 times this week
Personal Goals:
3. Drink juice at least 3 days this week
4. Read my bible everyday this week
5. Walk on the treadmill at least 3 days this week (I have been a complete failure in the area of exercise lately)
Home Management Goals:
6. Declutter kitchen counters
7. Clean the school room (I never got this done the last time I posted it.)
Business Goals:
8. Sign up for e-junkie
9. Finish first draft of the ebook (almost done)
10. Blog at least 4 times this week

I hope you have a great week this week. Last year my daughter and myself learned Romans 12 in sign language. We also do read alouds at our house. I read our history stories aloud to both kids and my daughter has some extra study on her own for history. We have followed along with Ambleside online for years well the last 9 years for my daughter.
I have also committed to exercise each day which is something new for me but I am going to do my best to keep up,with it.
I hope your week goes well and you get the most important things done each day.

Thanks, Shelly! Really Romans 12 in sign language is quite an accomplishment. Wow! That’s wonderful and something I’m sure your daughter will never forget doing.
I will have to check out Ambleside online. I’ve never heard of it before, but I’ll be sure to do a google search on it.
I hope you have a great week, too, Shelly!

That verse might be a really good one to do with my girls as well!! Maybe that will help them with the fighting between them! Thanks for sharing that! One thing that has really helped me to get my workouts in is to schedule them, just like you would do with work and anything else. I also do it first thing in the morning, get up a little before the kids do and get it in.
Few goals for this week:
1. Finish the rest of my WP 1 class
2. Work on my business plan
3. Survive solo parenting this week because hubby is out of town for work!!!

Thanks, Carrie! We did great with memorizing the verse this week, and I can honestly say that memorizing the verse did help us to be mindful of our words. We’re going to keep this up with a new verse for next week.
I NEED to take your advice to schedule workouts/time on the treadmill. I’ve not gotten on the treadmill at all this week…..and it’s Saturday! Schedule, schedule, schedule. I think I’m going to start scheduling these on specific days on my calendar. If it’s on the calendar, it has a HIGH chance of getting done.
I hope you had a great week, Carrie!
P.S. I did read your comment earlier in the week and just got around to commenting back now. π
