I know it’s almost Wednesday, and I’m just getting around to posting my goals for the week.
I’ve been procrastinating, but I want to get my goals posted.
Here’s how I did with last week’s goals:
Family/Mothering Goals:
1. Make a thankfulness Thanksgiving craft with the kids — I had good intentions, and I spent time searching for the right craft on Pinterest. I ended up finding a great craft that involved creating a sort of Thankfulness tree. Pretty neat. We never made it, partly because the baby ended up getting sick and needed to be carried more than usual.

3. Wake up by 7:30am every morning (one day down ) — What? No. I’m going to stop setting ‘wake up’ goals for now. My husband and I have put together a family schedule that involves us getting to bed earlier and waking up earlier. I’m going to see how that works. I’m glad that my husband is onboard with it, and that means it should be more successful, if we can make it work as a family.
4. Read my bible everyday — I didn’t actually open my Bible everyday, even though I did read scripture in other places. I am still reading through the At the Feet of Jesus Devotional, and it’s making a real difference for me. As a family, we are going through Bible trivia cards at mealtimes, and it’s going fantastically! I’m amazed at the difference a $1.00 pack of Bible cards is making in our family.
Truly, amazing. My kids are enthusiastically talking about the Bible, and they’re learning!
5.
Walk on the treadmill one day this weekHome Management Goals:
6.
Wash Elisabeth’s baby toys— I cleaned them with vinegar/water and wash cloths.7.
Keep up with the dishes that’ll constantly accumulate this week— We did buy some paper plates, because in an effort to buy more glass plates from Amazon, we ended up with nothing but mix-ups. Normally, I have no issues shopping on Amazon, but for some reason, the plates I ordered were wrong two separate times. We’ve finally returned the last wrong order, and we are waiting on a refund.*My husband also did a great job of helping with the dishes last week.
Business Goals:
8. Catch up on 4 Weeks to a More Organized Home blog posts — I was almost caught up, but now I’m behind again. 😉
9. Do some premium plugin research — Still need to do more
10.
Create one new DIY video and upload it to YouTube— I created a video tutorial on how to make homemade deodorant.

I had big plans of getting more done this week on my goals but with both the kids sick, my daughter is much better my son is about half way through this cold, I am just going to stick with just want needs to be done each day. I am also starting to get sick so I really need to slow down a bit this week and try to stay well.
It looks like you have a great plan for this weeks goals. I hope you have a great week and are able to get caught up on your cleaning posts.

Hi Shelly! I’m glad to hear that your kids are feeling better. I think it’s a great idea to keep your days simple with sick kids at home.
I’m trying to keep my days simpler, too. Taking on less and trying to spend more time with my family. We have a case of ringworm in my family right now that has brought me to my knees. We’ve never experienced anything like it. 🙁 I think it started with my son after a free haircut a few months ago….because it started on the back of his scalp.
Anyway, I’m hoping to get caught up on the cleaning series posts. I think the extra organization would help a lot.
