As a mom, I want to spend quality time creating making memories with my kids. I want to read, explore, and create with them. The reality for me, as a work-at-home mom of five kids, is that I don’t have a lot of time to search the internet for fun and brain-engaging crafts and books. Much less find those ideas and then go to the store and buy the supplies. Every few months…I can pull it off, Β but not on a regular basis.
So I was thrilled to discover a program like BabbaBox. Everything I need is included in the BabbaBox that is delivered right to my door. From the storybook that is themed to go along with the craft to the glue for the craft itself. It’s all there, and it’s fantastic. There was no starting a craft and then realizing we are missing something. It was all in the box.
My boys and even my 10 yr. old daughter loved creating, reading, and exploring with all that was included in our BabbaBox.Β With one BabbaBox we created two crafts, a moon nightlight, and a constellation of stars that went into a frame for showing off. Also included were binoculars that the kids used to try to see as far as they could into the night sky. We used the binoculars after we read the book that was included in our box, Twinkle Star of the Week. (We all loved this story!)
The BabbaBox was an experience for our family, and I know it’s something my children and I will remember for years to come. I love how their eyes lit up with excitement when we explored the different things in the box and the joy in their voices when a project was completed and they could use it!
Isaac is already asking about our next BabbaBox! π

When my daughter was young we got boxes like the Babba Boxes. I think for my daughter they usually came with a CD, a book, a craft or science project and a workbook of sorts. She used to just love doing them, I wish I would have remembered for my son when he was a little younger.
I think I will have to add making a project box each month for my son as part of my goals for next year. Something that fits into our homeschooling for that month.
Thanks for sharing about the Babba Boxes they look like so much fun.

Hi Shelly! That is a great idea to do for your son! I know my boys would love that. π The BabbaBox was so much fun, and because the projects were a little involved, they spanned a few days which was kinda of good in the end. The kids got to see the progression and enjoy their completed project even more.

That’s awesome. I think having to buy all of the necessary stuff to make a project is the hardest part… which is probably why I’ve pinned like 500 crafts and attempted… 1. Failed attempt, at that haha. I might just have to try this BabbaBox out when Nahla turns 3. π

Hi Sarah! I think Nahla would LOVE it! It’s so cool. I really do like that everything you need is included in the box and the projects are projects that make the kids think and learn.

What a fun idea! I would love to do more crafts with my little guy, but like you said, it’s a pain making sure that you have every little thing. Sometimes I just don’t want to buy a whole bottle of some special glue (for example) if I am only going to use it that one time. This would be perfect!
Sandra says
Hi Erin! I agree. I don’t like spending money on a whole bottle of something I’ll only use once or twice and then see it sit in our craft cabinet forever…
