Last week, I did something smart.
I wrote down my goals on my calendar, and I broke them down so that I could get as many accomplished as possible. And it actually worked. I’m not too surprised, because I live by my calendar. If it’s on the calendar, it has a high probability of getting done. If it’s not on the calendar, there’s a good chance I’ll forget all about it or keep pushing it off until I “have time.”
Not that I’m great about keeping up with everything single thing on my calendar, but at least if it’s there, then it’s constantly in front of me, and I’ll get to it eventually.
So, here’s what I accomplished last week:
Family/Mothering Goals:
1.
Go on an outing with Breanna— We had a fun day out, which began with a venti double chocolatey chip frappe from Starbucks followed by shopping at Old Navy. I loved having this time out with my daughter, who is turning into a young woman so quickly.2.

Wow you did a great job on your goals last week. I was able to get most of my goals done. I do need to work on planning my garden out for this year and get any new seeds we need. I need to continue doing the Bible study and listening to the Bible on CD with the kids at breakfast. I also need to plan out my dinner for the next two weeks too.
I hope you have another productive week.

I make sure to write my goals out each week and hang them above my kitchen sink. I am there at least three times a day scrubbing away and glance up to see them! It helps me to stay focused. Although as I start to use my planner more, that would be a great place to put them as well!

Hi Ashley! Having your goals above the kitchen sink is a great reminder place. π Thanks for visiting!

Great job on your goals last week! I love it when I get to spend one-on-one time with my kids…it’s so special to just hang out with them and be able to connect without interruptions from the other sibling π

Thanks, Erin! And I agree, it’s wonderful to have special time with one child at a time. π
