I wasn’t able to get as many of my goals crossed off my list as I had hoped to last week. ย The main reason is that my usual time to catch up – the weekend – was full.
On Friday, David had a clinic appointment in Chicago. This takes up a huge chunk of our day, but at least it only happens once every two weeks. After his 3-hour appointment, we went to the Lincoln Park Zoo. That was a lot of fun! Then we split up for dinner. I had a work-related dinner to attend that evening, while Ruben took the kids to get something to eat nearby.
We got home pretty late, but it was a great day.
On Saturday, my mom volunteered to stay with the kids for a few hours, so that Ruben and I could get some time away. We got something to eat and ran a couple of errands that were easier to get done without all five kids in tow.
On Sunday, I had the opportunity to see my sister earn her bachelor’s degree and graduate from college (yay, Sarah! ๐ ). We went out to dinner afterwards, and by the time we got back home, I didn’t really feel like working on what was left undone on my list of goals.
Here’s what I did get accomplished for the week:

What are your goals for this week?

Sounds like you had a full and fun weekend. It’s so good to hear that David doesn’t ‘t have to go to the clinic as often. We are still praying for him! Congratulations to your sister in earning her degree! I hope you are able to get your goals accomplished this week. I usually have two or three that fall by the wayside too. But I know I get so much more done by setting the goals each week.

Congratulations to your sister! How exciting to share such a milestone in her life ๐
I’m also so glad to hear that David’s appointments are less often…such a good sign. Good luck this week on taking care of your goals!
