I did pretty well knocking out nearly all of the goals I set for last week.
But after thinking about the area I struggle with most – my business goals – I’m going to make a little change moving forward. I realize that week after week I keep biting off more than I can handle in terms of my business goals, and it’s just not good or helpful.
So, instead, I’m only going to create two business goals per week, and I’m going to add an additional personal goal in order to maintain ten goals per week.
It’s so much easier to work on personal goals around my kids anyway.
Business goals? Those generally have to be saved for after they’re in bed or for when I’m able to get some time alone to work on them.
Anyway, here’s what I accomplished last week:
Family/Mothering Goals:
1.
Continue to work on memorizing two verses of scripture as a family — This has been such a blessing to our family. Even Elisabeth, my 2-year-old daughter, is doing great with her memorization. It helps that we work on the same verse for a few weeks at a time.2.
Enjoy a Family Day outside of the housePersonal Goals:
3.

Walk a total of 80 minutes on the treadmill5.

Hi Sandra
Found your site via you following on twitter. Love your site, full of good values, interesting to read and I’m sure many mothers would benefit from reading it.
Recipes and healthy foods are my thing find me on creatinglifestyle.com for info on good and bad foods. A recipe that I just finished developing today. Haven’t thought of a name yet. here’s the recipe.
2 weet-bix
1/2 cup home made peanut butter
1 cup of almond meal
1 cup of dates
1/2 cup of pumpkin, sesame seeds sunflower
pinch of salt
1/2 cup of Oats
1 tbsp of chocolate chips
Using a blender add a little water (tbsp) place the dates in chop finely, add balance of ingredients, may need to add a little water. (mix should be thick) take small handful at a time roll into balls then roll over coconut, place in fridge to set.
Or with the same mix, roll the mix place on baking tray flatten with fork bake at 160c for 12-15 minutes.
Ideal for a after dinner treat and kids will love them and it’s healthy, no sugar, no white flower,no butter, no eggs. Hope you enjoy them. Maybe you can come up with a name for them.

You did great with your goals!
Way to be willing to change things to make your goals work for you. Sometimes we have to take a step back and adjust! Hope you are able to knock out your goals for this week.

Sandra good job on getting so many of your goals done!
I find it hard to find time to work too at times. Some weeks I get a bunch done on business goals other times I will have the same business goals for weeks. It just goes to show you are putting your family first which is a good thing. The little ones are only little for a short time. 🙂

I agree, Shelly. Our little ones only get one childhood, and I’m thankful that I’m able to put work on the back burner and still maintain my little blog here. 😉
