While I did a great job of getting up early most days last week, several other goals had to be set aside because I was sick with what I think was the flu.
And while I’m still not 100% well, I feel TONS better and look forward to getting more done this week!
Here’s what I accomplished last week:
Family/Mothering Goals:
1.
Continue to work on memorizing two verses of scripture as a family2. Tryย a science experiment with the kids — Because I was sick,ย I decided to put this on hold.
Personal Goals:
3.
Do resistance band exercises 3x4.
Walk a total of 75 minutes on the treadmill5.
Read 20 pages of The Hobbit (affiliate link) by J.R.R. Tolkein— I ended up finishing this book! I can’t wait to watch the extended version of The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug. It’s available on DVD on November 4th. In case you’re wondering, The Hobbit book is very different from the movie. The main points in the story are the same, but there are definitely lots of differences. Nevertheless — I love them both. ๐6. Get up by 7:00am every morning — I did well in getting up early, but I missed waking up by 7:00am on Sunday.
Home Management Goals:
7.ย
Find three things to sell on ebay8.ย
Help Breanna de-clutter the area around her deskBusiness Goals:
9. Edit and postย DIY video — I edited and uploaded the video to YouTube, but I’ve yet to post it here on the blog.
10.ย Write and post a review and giveaway of Door to Door Organicsย — I finished taking pictures for this post, but that was about as far as I got.

You did a great job at getting up early this past week. Way to go! Looks like you did a great job on your goals even though you weren’t feeling well.
Sandra says
Thanks, Shelly! I think it was because I wasn’t feeling well that I was able to get up early…
Lydia @ Not Afraid of the Snow says
Your video is great! I made something similar for Christmas gifts last year for some teen girls. I think I need to use this on my feet!
Sandra says
Thank you, Lydia! I had a terrible sore throat (the beginnings of the flu last week), but thankfully, you can’t really tell in the video. ๐
The brown sugar scrub does make a great gift. Great idea!
Erin @ My Mommy World says
