I knocked out nearly all of my goals last week.
The only one I didn’t complete was my goal to post the recipe for peppermint sugar scrub. I did make a bit of progress, but I’m still only around 40% done. I’m definitely planning on finishing up that post this week! ๐
Here’s what I accomplished last week:
Family/Mothering Goals:
1.
Continue to work on memorizing two verses of scripture as a family2.ย
Plan a fun family day & individual “Day Out with Dad” dates for the kids — We decided to start scheduling these special dates again now that the holidays are over.Personal Goals:
3.
Do resistance band exercises 4x4.
Walk a total of 130 minutes on the treadmill — I’m slightly increasing my goal and will also be paying more attention to what I’m eating. Thankfully, the cookies, candies, and holiday goodies have all been eaten!5.

Thank you, Gina! And I love your new blog design! ๐ It’s beautiful and simple – two things I’m going for as well. I hope you have a great rest of the week!

Sandra, you did really well this week. Great job!
I’m looking forward to your peppermint scrub recipe. What will your family be doing for your family fun day this week?
Hope you have a great week.

Thank you, Shelly! For this week’s family day, I’ve asked around, and it seems we’ll be watching The Hobbit – part 1 (the extended edition) again. ๐ We’ll do that and have some special food to go along with it. I thought maybe we could play a game instead, but I guess that’ll wait for another family day. Lol
At the moment, J.R.R. Tolkien’s stories are talked about very regularly in our family. I love the way my kids use their imagination (and toy swords) to act out scenes and pretend!

Wow, you did a great job last week! I have not been hitting any of my exercise goals, because my classes have been cancelled almost every day for 2 weeks. When the schools are delayed because of snow or ice, they cancel all classes at the gym before 11 a.m. It’s so frustrating!
I hope you have a wonderful week ๐
Sandra says
That’s such a bummer, Erin! The only reason I get my exercise in is because I do it at home on my treadmill – usually while watching some sort of Dateline/FBI/48 Hours show on the computer with my husband. ๐
I hope you have a great rest of the week, too!
