Well, I managed to cross off all of my goals but my business goals.
I kept putting off finishing up the peppermint sugar scrub post; though, I did work a bit on the images. And I scheduled time to work on my new blog design, but then I didn’t actually work on it.
Oh well! It’s a new week, right? ๐

5. Read 20 pages of The Most Important Place on Earthย (affiliate link) by Robert Wolgemuth — I’m taking away so many good ideas to implement in our family from this book. However, I was sad to find out that the author’s wife, who is mentioned regularly in the book, recently went to Heaven. (I jumped on Google one afternoon because I wanted to know more about this incredibly smart mama.) By all accounts, she was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother who lived life well and to the glory of God!
6. Journal 2x
Home Management Goals:
7.ย Spend 25 minutes cleaning/organizing the basement — This has become a fun activity to do with the kids over the weekend.
8.ย Create a cleaning schedule

9.ย Post DIY project/recipe for peppermint sugar scrub

What are your goals for this week?
Lydia says
Can’t wait to see your new blog design! That is really sad about the author’s wife. Hope you have a great week, Sandra!
Sandra says
Thanks, Lydia! I’m excited about it and just need to get to work on it. ๐
I hope you have a great week, too!
Shelly says
Looks like you did a great job on your goals this week, Sandra. I know getting to everything each week is hard. I missed a goal too this week. But like you said, it’s a new week and we get to try again. ๐
Sandra says
It is, Shelly, and I’m hoping to cross off some of the goals I put off last week! ๐
Erin at My Mommy World says
You did a great job checking off goals this week! I have to check out the book you are reading…I’m always looking for more ideas on how to be a better mother and how to make my home a good one, especially since I did not grow up in a practicing Christian household.
Sandra says
Thank you, Erin! And I think I like the book so much partly because the advice offered is coming from someone who has already raised their kids well and in a Christian home.
