Last week was great.
I celebrated my birthday and turned 33-years-old. I spent lots of time with my family; though, I always do because we homeschool and stay home a lot. ๐
I had the chance to talk at length with my mom and sister about Disney World (one of my favorite subjects), because they’ll be vacationing there soon. I’m so excited for them!
And I received an awesome new Erin Condren life planner from my sister, Sarah, that I completely love! You might remember that I use Google Calendar on an everyday basis, but this new planner fills in some gaps. I plan on using it to write down thoughts/goals that come to mind during the week, and I’m going to use it as a tool to grow a new YouTube channel. Plus, it’s cute!
As for my goals, I was able to cross them all off with the exception of spending one hour on my blog redesign. While I did work on the redesign, I didn’t spend an entire hour on it.
Here’s what I accomplished last week:
Family/Mothering Goals:
1.
Continue to work on memorizing two verses of scripture as a family2.ย
Plan a fun family day & individual ‘Day Out with Dad’ and ‘Day Out with Mom’ dates for the month of FebruaryPersonal Goals:
3.
Do resistance band exercises 4x4.
Walk a total of 140 minutes on the treadmill — I’m bumping this goal up by 10 minutes.5.
Read 20 pages of The Most Important Place on Earthย (affiliate link) by Robert Wolgemuth — One of my favorite takeaways from the previous week: When it comes to whose side you’re on, your kids should never have any doubt.6.
Journal 2xHome Management Goals:
7.ย
Spend 30 minutes cleaning/organizing the basement — This has become a fun activity to do with the kids over the weekend.8.ย
Fill one bag with items to donateBusiness Goals:

Personal Goals:
3. Do resistance band exercises 4x
4. Walk a total of 140 minutes on the treadmill
5. Finish readingย The Most Important Place on Earthย (affiliate link) by Robert Wolgemuth — I’m excited to be finishing up this book, but I do think I’ll read it over again in the future. My favorite takeaway from last week’s reading: Treat your words with care.ย
6. Journal 2x — What a blessing journaling has been over the past six months or so! I can look back and see prayers answered and how the Lord has been leading us as a family. I also see ways the Lord has helped me (personally). And journaling only twice a week is much more manageable than trying to do it every day.
Home Management Goals:
7.ย Spend 30 minutes cleaning/organizing the basement — This has become a fun activity to do with the kids over the weekend.
8.ย Sew items in our home that need it
Business Goals:
