Last year, we experienced the Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament show for the first time ever.
It was a fun, exciting, and delicious way to spend an afternoon, and we all loved it! My boys, especially, couldn’t wait for another opportunity to go back. I think they were not only won over by the entertainment (which included watching knights battle and real horses zoom past them), but also by the food and the souvenir swords we couldn’t resist. ๐
The whole experience was unforgettable.
Visiting the Chicago Castle This Year
We recently had a chance to go back to the Medieval Times Chicago Castle, and this time, I think the kids were even more excited leading up to the day of the show because they knew what to expect.

Nope, we’ve not been to a Medieval Times show.
We brought our nephew and niece there years ago and they loved it . Our two girls haven’t been yet.
I haven’t been before but it looks like a lot of fun. I know my son was excited to see that it looks like a castle outside.
We have! We went as kids in CA and I took my kids to another show.
My family has never been to Medieval Times. My almost 7 year old son has been asking to go for about a year. I think he is finally ready to experience the excitement and adventure. His little sister loves any excuse to cheer! We are looking forward to this opportunity.
I have been to a medieval times show twice in my life. I went as a kid with my class and then a few years ago I took my two boys. They loved it and are always asking to go back. It is such a fun experience!
