I crossed off all but one of my goals last week! ๐
Here’s what I accomplished:
Family/Mothering Goals:
1.
Continue to work on memorizing two verses of scripture as a family— This has been such a blessing to our family.2.ย
Read to my children 5x— After working on reading regularly to my children for months, it’s definitely a habit now.Personal Goals:
3.
Do resistance band exercises 4x4.
Walk a total of 120 minutes on the treadmill5.
Read 10 pages of The Lord of the Rings (Part One) The Fellowship of the Ring by J.R.R. Tolkien6.
Journal 2xHome Management Goals:
7. Fill one bag with items to donate — We got sidetracked watching Disney videos on YouTube as a family during the time I’d normally be looking for things to fill a garbage bag, so I missed this goal. But it was fun spending time together and talking about how we’d like to visit Disney again…someday. ๐
8.
Create new school folders with instructions/subjects, etc… for the upcoming school year— We’re starting school next week, and I’m just about ready. I wish I could say the kids are excited about it, but they like the relaxed summer routine we’ve got going on and don’t look forward to starting school again. Oh, well!Business Goals:
9.
Shoot, edit, & upload at least one new videoย toย our family YouTube channel10.
Shoot, edit,ย & upload oneย family vlogย and create a new header for my YouTube channel

Sandra, You did a great job on your goals this week.
I missed two goals last week. But that’s alright we will try for getting more done this upcoming week. I hope you are able to accomplish all your goals this week.
Sandra says
Thanks, Shelly! I hope you have a great week, too. ๐
Erin @ My Mommy World says
Great job on your goals last week!
I think it’s great that you are reading to your kids regularly. We did so well on this during the summer, but have recently slacked off a bit. I really need to get to the library and pick up some more books so that my kids and I can have some more reading time together.
Hope you have a great week ๐
Sandra says
Thanks, Erin! I feel like it helped to keep the reading goal on my list every week this summer, and it caused me to be intentional about reading to my children.
I hope you have a great week, too! ๐

Hi Sandra! Great job on your goals last week!
I’m glad to be back in the school routine. I love that reading with your children has become a habit. For some reason, we have great routines during the school year then it all just melts away in the summer.
I hope you have a great week. ๐
Sandra says
Thanks, Gina! And we just started school this week, and I like that we’re getting into a more structured routine even if that means I have less time to work on online things during the day.
I hope have a great week, too! ๐
Lydia @ Not Afraid of the Snow says
What a legit reason not to get one of your goals done! Time with family is far more important than getting rid of things that we don’t need. Hope your week is going well this week!

Thanks, Lydia! ๐ We’re having a good week so far. We got to spend a few hours with my extended family yesterday including my brother and his family who are visiting from North Carolina. Yesterday was a FUN day at my house. LOL – my nieces and nephews loved all the toys we have here!
