I crossed 9 out of 10 of my goals off my list for last week.
Once again, I didn’t finish my 2016 goals post, but I did make some progress on it. I think my problem is that mentally I keep telling myself that it’s going to be difficult to explain exactly how I work my Google Calendar. I feel like it’s better to show you how I use it and not try to explain it in a blog post. So I’ve decided that instead of trying to spell out how I use my Google Calendar, I’m going to create a video and show you how I use it for every single day of my life.
I’m hoping to get that video filmed soon, but my computer is acting crazy again so it’ll probably be a week or so before I can get that uploaded to YouTube and shared in a blog post. At the moment, I’m using the computer we won at a Twitter party, but it doesn’t have the movie editing software, iMovie, that I use to edit videos.
So…I’m going to wait to film, edit, and upload until after my computer gets repaired.
And actually, my husband, Ruben, took Herb (my computer) to the Apple store today and we found out that I need a new hard drive. Thankfully, since my computer canย be considered a dinosaur as far as laptops go, it won’t cost much to replace it. But my laptop won’t be fixed until the end of this week.
Oh, well! There’s all that happening, and then my dad will be visiting from Mexico tomorrow. And I’m not quite sure how long he’ll be staying since he likes to buy one-way tickets. ๐
But anyway, here’s what I accomplished last week:

There would be more to read and click in emails if it were informative posts from blog. Reading emails and seeing someone’s goals is not relevant to us, so we go to next email. You would get more email hits with posts we missed, diy, or new recipes. I am glad you have goals, but it is not us, things we do, or our lives don’t line up to do the same goals as you but want you to have more email interaction, so wanted to help.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts, Selena. ๐ Feel free to skip my goals posts and check out the posts where I share recipes or anything else that might interest you.

I can’t wait to see your video on Google calendar! I think it will be more helpful than a blog post, because I learn better by watching someone rather than reading about how to do something.
I hope you have a great visit with your Dad ๐

Thanks, Erin! I’m getting my computer back tonight, so I’m hoping to get that video up next week sometime. ๐
We’ve been having a very nice visit with my Dad…lots of talking and eating going on around here. LOL

Great job on your goals. I’m sorry to hear you are having computer issues. I know my friend’s Mac was acting up and her hubby was able to replace the hard drive and fix the trouble. I hope the hard drive replacement takes care of your troubles too.
I’m looking forward to your Google calendar vlog. I know I learn so much better by watching a video so I’m sure it will help me figure out Google calendar. I’m just starting a 7-day course to make over my calendar. Which talks about Google calendar. I’m going to give using Google Calendar a try again. ๐ So it will be nice to see how you use it too.

Thanks, Shelly! I’m typing this comment on my computer, so it has a new hard drive and is working again! Yay! ๐
I’m hoping to get the Google Calendar video up next week sometime. I hope you and your family have a great weekend!
