Once again, I crossed 9 out of 10 goals off my list for last week.
I didn’t end up getting outside to play with the kids, but that’s mainly because last week was a bit different since my dad was visiting us from Mexico. He actually finished up with his visit and all of the business that he needed to get done here early, so he took a flight home on Saturday evening. It was great catching up with him, and we look forward to having him visit again later this year. ๐
And remember my computer issues?
They’re fixed now, and I’m hoping the new hard drive will solve all of the problems my computer was having. It’s certainly running a lot faster, and it felt brand new after Ruben brought it home from the Apple store.
As for my goals, here’s what I accomplished last week:
Family/Mothering Goals:
1.
Continue to work on memorizing two verses of scripture as a family2. Play outside with the kids
Personal Goals:
3.
Do resistance band exercises 4x4.
Walk a total of 200 minutes on the treadmill — I’m increasing this goal, and just in time because we indulged in a big family birthday meal today.5.ย
Read at least 5 pages from each of these books: Toward a Growing Marriage by Gary Chapman, Be the Best Mom You Can Be by Marina Slayton, and Influencer Marketing for Dummies (I won this book at a Twitter party, and I’m loving it!)6.

What are your goals for this week?
Erin @ My Mommy World says
How nice that your computer is fixed and running better than before! I probably need a new computer, but I’m hoping that this one will last long enough until I can save up for a MacBook ๐
Hope you have a great week!
Sandra says
Thanks, Erin! A MacBook is definitely worth the price, in my opinion. I got mine in 2011, and every time it’s had an issue, we’ve been able to get it fixed and get more life out of it. The repair costs haven’t been high, either, and Apple even fixed several issues for free. ๐

It’s great you were able to get your computer back and it works great. I know I have so much on my computer but I try to move everything I don’t use often but want to keep onto my external hard drive to help it run better.
I hope you have a great week!
Sandra says
Thanks, Shelly! We just got another external hard drive that we’re using for my husband’s computer and will eventually use for mine as well once I need to back up again. It’s a 4 terabyte hard drive that didn’t cost us too much out of pocket because I had a couple of Amazon gift cards to put towards it. ๐
Lydia @ Not Afraid of the Snow says
Way to go with all your goals! I think you missed the best goal though, playing! We as adults have a hard time making time to relax don’t we. Boo!
Sandra says
Yes, Lydia! And I missed it again this week. ๐ One of the kids has been sick with a stomach issue for about 4 days now, and then I decided to tackle redesigning my blog, which took some major time. I’m hoping we can get outside as a family this week, though. ๐
