I crossed off nearly all of my goals last week. ๐
Here’s what I accomplished:
Family/Mothering Goals:
1.
Continue to work on memorizing two verses of scripture as a family2.ย
Make a list of things each child needs…new socks, shorts, etc…Personal Goals:
3.ย
Track what I’m eating with the My Fitness Pal app — Now that my extended breastfeeding journey is finally over, I’m ready to get serious about losing weight again. I truly believe (after reading information online and comments from many, many other moms in forums, etc…) that my “breastfeeding hormones” were keepingย me from really being able to lose weight. I’ve been stuck around the same weight for a very long time, but now that my hormones are working on returning to normal (although they were a MESS during the weaning process), my body should start working normally again. And I couldn’t be happier about that.— Over the last few days, I’ve felt like my body is truly getting back to normal, which has been such a blessing. I wasn’t prepared for the crazy hormonal roller coaster I was going to go through as I weaned Elisabeth (and it continued for about 2 weeks even after she was totally weaned). But now, finally, I’m feeling more like myself and I feel like my body is working with me instead of against me.4.

9. Shoot, edit & upload at least one new video toย our family YouTube channel — I ended up shooting the first half of this video but decided to wait to film the second half until this week so that we could spend more time together as a family and do activities that focused on the true meaning of Easter.
