Hi, guys! I’m sharing another Large Family Grocery Haul video, and this time, it includes Costco, Whole Foods, Meijer, and Jewel hauls. The total for this food haul was right around $240.
In addition to the hauls, I also answer the question of why we buy organic foods. I hope you enjoy the video. π
For anyone who may be interested, here is the recipe for Fall Pumpkin Bread on my blog. I mentioned it in the video, and it’s delicious!

I agree with you…eating healthy foods the majority of the time is best, but eating fun foods, like doughnuts or sugary cereal, is part of what makes life enjoyable!
My daughter is celebrating her birthday today and we decided to sneak out to Chick-fil-A in our pajamas (in the drive-though!) to pick up a special breakfast. What I ordered wasn’t part of our regular diet, and I probably won’t see as much weight loss this week, but it was a special occasion and I decided to eat something fun with my daughter. We don’t do it all the time, and that’s what makes it special…it will make a fun memory for my kids π

Happy birthday to your daughter, Erin! I hope she had a great day! π And I totally agree that there’s room for Chick-fil-A and other fun foods here and there while eating healthy most of the time. I hope you and your family have a blessed Easter weekend!

We eat organic some of the time. We eat more organic produce in the spring and summer when our garden is producing for us and I purchase organic other times when I see it on sale or at the discount grocery stores.
I think a balance of good food and junk food is a good way to live. I know at our house we have no so good for you food occasionally and we just limit the amount we eat. It’s all about balance.

It’s so neat that you can find organic foods at such great deals at your local discount grocery stores, Shelly. π
