Hi, guys! I hope you’re having a great 4th of July holiday. We’re spending the day at home because we’ve been sick with colds all week.
But because we’ve been spending so much time at home, I was able to get a lot of my goals crossed off early, and I got everything accomplished on my list except for filming a video for our family YouTube channel. I decided to bump that video to this week to give my throat/voice a chance to recover from this latest illness.
Here’s what I accomplished:
Family/Mothering Goals:
1.
Continue to work on memorizing two verses of scripture as a family2.
Plan a fun family dayPersonal Goals:
3.
Start working on a Family Vision for our family4.
Walk a total of 80 minutes on the treadmill5.
Read at least 5 pages from each of these books: Toward a Growing Marriage by Gary Chapman, Be the Best Mom You Can Be by Marina Slayton, and Influencer Marketing for Dummies6.
Journal 2xHome Management Goals:
7.
List an item to sell8.
Catch up on all the laundry — After two weeks without a working dryer, we should finally have a new one installed tomorrow. Yay! I will have help catching up on the laundry because my husband, son, and daughter all pitch in in this area. Together, we’ll get it done.Business Goals:
9. Shoot at least one new video for our family YouTube channel
10.
Edit & upload at least one new video for my YouTube channel

What are your goals for this week?
P.S. If you’re keeping up with up our radon updates, I sent in the test canister at the beginning of last week, and I thought we’d have the results by last Friday. However, when I called to see if the results were available, I was told that they weren’t, but I’m hoping to get them sometime this week. So I’ll update next week’s post with the results.

I hope you all have a wonderful 4th of July too. Sorry to hear you are all sick with colds, that no fun at all. But yeah, for getting almost all of your goals crossed off! I hope you’ll all be feeling better soon.

Thanks, Shelly! 🙂

Looks like you had a great week, except for the colds! I hope you all get better soon 🙂
I just watched your oatmeal cups review and was sad to hear about your anemia. I’m glad that you found out so that you can get back to feeling good again!
Sandra says
Thanks, Erin! I’m glad I know I’m anemic now, and I’m definitely doing something about it. I’ve felt better strength-wise over the last week or so, and I think that’s a good sign that things are improving. I’ve struggled with anemia during pregnancy in the past, and even post-partum, but I eventually got better and there was no indication that I was anemic the last time I had my blood drawn which was around last summer.
Things change though, and I’m just glad I know about it now so that I can get back to being healthy. 🙂
