Well, I ended up giving myself two weeks to work on my goals instead of just one.
I’m not planning on making that a habit, but it did help this time around as I work on making weekly goals a priority again. π
Here’s what I accomplished:
Family/Mothering Goals:
1.
Work on memorizing a verse of scripture as a family2.
Read books with my three youngest kidsPersonal Goals:
3.
Read the book of Revelation again— I love reading Revelation and have been spending lots of time there this year. And while I’ll still go back and read there regularly, I’ve decided to go ahead and start reading the New Testament all over again. My plan is to finish reading the book of Matthew this week. RV living has truly helped me fall in love with God’s Word all over again. I love it!4.
Email a friend5.
Create a prayer list on my phone— I did this and now I just need to remember to look at it often!6.Β
Journal 2xHome Management Goals:
7.
Work on our budget— Our budget was wrecked in Central Florida and, to be honest, for the first time in a long time, I stopped creating a monthly budget because it was so messed up. π Β We didn’t anticipate the higher cost of food there, and all I can really say is that I’m glad we’re back to normal food prices here in Illinois.8.
Wipe down electronicsBusiness Goals:
9. Edit & upload at least one new video toΒ my YouTube channel — I started editing a video but never finished. I’m hoping to have a new video up by the end of this week. After taking such a long break from my channel to focus on other things, I’m having a hard time jumping back in!

What are your goals for this week?
P.S. For those interested, we don’t have our RV back yet. We did get an update on how things were going yesterday, and there are still several repairs that need to be made. We don’t have a date yet as to when we’ll get our RV back, but I’m guessing we’ll get another update from Rick’s RV in another week or so. Thanks for following along!

I’m sorry to hear that your RV is in the shop…hopefully the repairs aren’t too bad.
Looks like you got quite a few goals accomplished last week! Good for you π Hope you have a great weekend!

Hi Erin! We actually had a bunch of things that needed to be fixed in the RV by the time we got back from Florida. Some of the repairs are minor, one has to do with recalled lights in the RV (several of the lights had already stopped working by the time we got back to IL), and then we need a pretty big repair done to the floor of the RV. It’s off and we noticed that there was a problem within the first month (probably within the first couple of weeks actually) of being in the RV and the flooring issue has only gotten worse.
Anyway, we’re being patient with the repairs and just want everything to be done right. π
I hope you and your family have a great weekend, too! π

Great job on your goals. I hope the repairs on the RV are going well and you’ll have it back soon.

Thank you, Shelly! We don’t the RV back yet, but we’re glad it’s getting worked on and things are getting done with it. π

Hope the repairs are going smoothly and the RV comes back soon!
My goals for the week:
1) pay my car registration
2) Take son to school registration and hope it isn’t 2 hours long as I have some volunteer work to do!
3) Make cookies- chocolate chip or oatmeal as I haven’t done that in many months.
4 )Keep calling the MD and pharmacy to get my prescriptions taken care of and how much it will cost me. New insurance is a pain!
5) Put back all of the toys that were removed from son’s room. We had to tidy up for the appraiser.
6) Continue the meal planning for the week. Tomorrow is a chicken dish. Maybe chicken parm. We thawed out a lot this week and have to cook it all.
7) Keep thinking about if I should increase my hours at work. And be careful if I increase my hours as my boss is known to give close to full-time and 5 am shifts. Currently, I work part-time due to medical issues. I may need a MD note to increase hours and decide by how much. And get a note!
8) Contact the online store to see where our bathtub handle is. It’s been 3 weeks since we ordered it!
9) Get more cereal as it’s still on sale.
10) Keep reading scripture and thanking the Lord for daily blessings!

Hi, Lisa! You’ve got a great list of goals and I can relate to many of them. I hope you’re able to get everything accomplished and that you have a great rest of the week! π
