Happy New Year! For our family, 2017 was a year of learning and new experiences and getting closer to our Lord Jesus. We’re looking forward to what 2018 will bring. Whatever happens, we know that God is in control and we’re blessed to be able to walk each day with Him.

I’m working on creating my goals for the year and getting a little more organized in terms of business tasks.
Hope you have a great week!

That sounds great, Erin! I’m going to try to work a bit more on my business this year, too. I hope you have a great week! 🙂

Yay for Esther! I love that you are reading through whole books at a time. I am studying James right now Convicting!
Hope you are doing well!
Sandra says
Hi, Lydia! Reading through whole books is how I most love reading God’s Word. Right now, I’m slowly reading through the Old Testament book by book while at the same time reading the New Testament book by book over and over as I continue reading through the OT. I hope that makes sense.
Basically, I’ll read the NT several times by the time I finish reading the OT. James is a convicting book. So much to study and understand there. God’s Word is a treasure!! 🙂

This year instead of doing yearly goals, I’m working on quarterly goals. I’m hoping it will help me to really focus on tasks I want to get done, since I have a hard time focusing knowing I’m only taking on that task for 12 weeks at a time.
At church we go through full books of the Bible at a time. It’s nice that they record them too. So we can go back through and listen again.
I hope you are able to reach your goals this week. It’s so exciting to start a new year.

Thank you, Shelly! It is exciting to start a new year. It’s great that your church goes through whole books of the Bible at a time. Expositional preaching is my favorite.
I hope you have a great rest of the week! 🙂
