Well, the past few weeks have been rough. I ended up getting sick and that sickness turned into the worst bronchitis I’ve ever experienced. It was horrible, and I’m still not over the coughing portion of it. But, I’m feeling much better overall and finally feel mostly like my old self again…other than my cough that’s the worst in the morning and at night.
I’ve eaten around 100 cough drops, diffused essential oils, and generally just tried to survive with the help of my family. Thankfully, by God’s grace, I made it through this illness and hope to never go through anything like it again. It was awful! ๐ฎ
Now that I’m feeling better and we’re pretty settled into our new home, I want to get back to setting goals and working toward them each week. I’m hoping to make updating my goals a weekly habit. We’ll see how it goes! ๐
Here are my goals for this week:
Family/Mothering Goals:
1. Take myย oldest son to pick out new frames and order glasses
2. Go outside with the kids at least 4 days this week
Personal Goals:
3. Email a friend
4. Walk a total of 120 minutes on the treadmill — We finally have a treadmill again! I’m so excited! It arrived in a huge box last Friday and my husband put it together that night. The kids have already started walking on it regularly without my prompting. We loved our old treadmill and literally used it to death. I’m glad to finally have a replacement.
5.ย Finish reading the book of Philippians in the New Testament and read Psalms 35 to 53 in the Old Testament
6. Journal 2x
Home Management Goals:
7. Unpack 2 boxes — We have ourย essentials all unpacked so I need to work on unpacking more of the boxes we took out of our storage unit. Thankfully, we were able to get everything in our storage unit moved over to our new home last month and we’re no longer paying for storage. Yay! For now, we put things from the storage unit in our garage, and I’m working on getting it put away, organized or donated from there.

9. Shoot, edit, & upload at least one new videoย toย our family YouTube channel
10. Shoot, edit, & upload at least one new video to my YouTube channel
