Thanks to Nic’s Organic Fast Food and the folks that work with Burt’s Bees and Buxom
for partnering with me on this video.
Today, I’m sharing a $56 Whole Foods haul! Also, why is food so expensive at Whole Foods?? We hadn’t been there in a while and it hasn’t changed from when we used to shop there regularly. Because our kids have gotten older and eat a lot more, we can’t afford to shop at Whole Foods like we used to. Oh well! It was nice to get what we did buy. π
Before we go to Whole Foods to shop, we stop at Nic’s Organic Fast Food and enjoy lunch. I hope you enjoy the video and thanks for watching!
P.S. You can find more grocery hauls here.
You can find Buxom products on Amazon with my referral link here, and you can find Burt’s Bees products on Amazon using my referral link here.
Also, please feel free to subscribe to my YouTube channel as I publish videos there before they make it on the blog. Oh, and I share a lot about food, family, and more in my Instagram Stories, so you may want to follow me there as well.
Do you shop at Whole Foods? Would you try Nic’s organic fast food?
Erin @ My Mommy World says
I started shopping regularly at Whole Foods several months ago after trying out their delivery service. I had a $10 off coupon and the delivery was free, so I thought I would try it.
The stuff that we bought at Whole Foods tasted so much better to me, which was so surprising, since I never believed before that there was a big difference between organic/non-organic foods.
I do spend a bit more at Whole Foods, but I do get all organic, and the meat is grass-fed/organic too, which I like. We are only a family of 4, however, so it’s one about $30 more per week than I would spend at a regular store.

Sounds good, Erin! Paying a little more for organic food can be worth it if it’s in your budget. I could see us shopping there more often if our budget allowed. It just feels like we went from buying for 2 adults and 5 kids to suddenly buying food for 6 “adults” and 1 kid (my 7-year-old). My older kids’ appetites grew quickly as they grew and I feel like we already spend a lot of money on groceries…it’s hard to fit Whole Foods into our budget anymore.
Thanks for sharing! π

An organic fast food restaurant, that interesting. I’m sure that would do really well here where we live.
The prices are higher at Whole Foods. I’ve shopped there for a few dairy free items we like but it’s so far from our home we don’t frequent it.
I’ve found in our area Trader Joe’s to have similar quality of items for better prices.

Hi Shelly! We haven’t been back to Whole Foods since this video, but I do want to make a trip to Trader Joe’s soon. We haven’t been there in a long time which is unusual for us because we used to stop there about once a month. It’s a bit of a drive, and it’s busy a lot of the time so we just opt for closer and less hectic options instead…most of the time.
I hope you and your family have a great rest of the week! π
