I know I didn’t update on my goals last week, so I’m going to go ahead and do it this week. π
Here’s what I accomplished:
Family/Mothering Goals:
1.
Do life lesson with Breanna — This week I think we’re going to work on Breanna’s taxes. I’ve talked to her about taxes but she’s never had to file them before. Now that she has regular income from her YouTube channel, she has to file so I told her we’d be working on them in the near future.2.
Work on Spanish with the kids — We use the Whistlefritz Spanish program loosely. It’s a fantastic program that you can adapt to your family’s needs. You can go fast paced with the program or slow. We’re taking things slow with lots of repetition and that’s helped make it easier for the kids to retain what they’ve learned.Personal Goals:
3.
Lift small handheld weights 4x4.
Walk at least 200 minutes on the treadmill5.
Bible: Finish reading through Isaiah6.
Journal 2xHome Management Goals:
7.
Call insurance company to update payment method — I tried to do this online but it didn’t work out. So now I have to make a dreaded phone call. LOL8.

9.
Look into getting a new smartphone.— While I did look into the new phones available online and then went to the T-Mobile store to see phones in person, I still haven’t made a decision. It’s so hard to choose a new phone. They’re expensive and many of them have bad reviews. LOL Why can’t phone companies make better phones? If you have any recommendations, I’d love to hear about them in the comments.10.
Shoot, edit, & upload at least one new video to my YouTube channel— I finally uploaded a couple of videos, and I have one ready to edit and upload this week!
Here are my goals for this week:
Family/Mothering Goals:
1. Do life lesson with Breanna — This week, I’m showing her how to create her own Google Calendar and use it to stay organized and remember things.

Personal Goals:
3. Lift small handheld weights 4x
4. Walk at least 200 minutes on the treadmill
5. Bible: Finish reading through Matthew
6. Journal 2x
Home Management Goals:
7. Call LG about fridge water filter reimbursement — LG gives us 50% of the amount we pay for a new water filter for our refrigerator. It’s part of the the 3-year warranty program we have with them on our fridge and we’ve taken advantage of the reimbursement several times over the past few years. I just hate that I have to call every time we need to get reimbursed. The customer service rep. on the phone simply starts the process and then the rest is done via email/mail. I wish they had an option to start the process online instead. Today, I waited on hold around 15-20 minutes before I hung up and decided to try again tomorrow. Oh well! It’s worth it in the end.
