It’s a bright, sunny day and that makes me happy. I didn’t love daylight savings yesterday because the day seemed to zoom by. But time feels more normal and even paced today so that’s good.
We made a little progress on our vacation this year and have decided that we’re going to break up our vacation into two small vacations. We want to spend a little time in Galena, Illinois which is a town we’ve never visited here in our home state. As for the second place, we haven’t decided yet.
We thought about visiting Branson, Missouri, but I think we’ve changed our mind about that and are tossing around other ideas. Anyway, I’ll let you know what we decide on in a later blog post. π
In the meantime, here are my goals for the next week or so:
Family/Mothering Goals:
1. Take Nathan out for a special meal — My husband and I started taking one of our kids out to eat for a special meal each week throughout the holidays and we’ve decided to continue in 2022. Nathan wants to go to Culver’s. I like to order a kids meal there for myself and I get lettuce, grilled onions and pickles in my cheeseburger. It’s not the healthiest but it has several veggies and tastes good as a special treat meal.
2. Do driving lessons with Breanna at least twice – She’s making good progress and driving around our neighborhood now. On her last lessons, she did all the driving. π
Personal Goals:
3. Lift hand weights 3 times
4. Walk at least 180 minutes on the treadmill
5. Read Bible
6. Journal twice
Home Management Goals:
7. Work on my daughter’s taxes — I finished ours the other day and I’m glad to have them done. Are you finished yet?
8. Fill a bag with items to donate
Business Goals:
9. Write a blog post
10. Edit and upload a video to my YouTube channel — Someday, I’d like to start sharing again on my YouTube channel. I’m honestly not in a rush but I still want to keep this as a goal for now. This is because I have a video that I have partially edited and I really need to finish it and just publish it.
What are your goals?
