Wow, where did April go?
Last month seems to have come and gone in a flash! I can’t say I’m sad about it. I’m glad it’s May and summer is near.
We have a fun staycation planned for later this month that we’re all looking forward to, and maybe I’ll share some of it in a future YouTube video. We’ll see. π
Anyway, here are my goals for the next week or so:
Family/Mothering Goals:
1. Take David out for a special meal — My husband and I started taking one of our kids out to eat for a special meal each week throughout the holidays and we’ve decided to continue in 2022.
2. Do driving lessons with Breanna at least twice – She’s making good progress and driving around our neighborhood. We’re at the point where we don’t have to switch spots. She starts out driving and ends the lesson when she parks back in our driveway.
Personal Goals:
3. Lift hand weights 3 times
4. Walk at least 180 minutes — I plan to do this by walking on the treadmill and taking family walks outside on days when the weather is nice. The weather hasn’t been very nice this spring and I’m hoping a change is just around the corner. It snowed twice in April.
5. Read Bible
6. Journal twice
Home Management Goals:
7. Help Elisabeth go through her clothes and take out the items that can be donated
8. Work on our staycation itinerary
Business Goals:
9. Write a weight loss update blog post
10. Film, edit and upload a video to my YouTube channel — I think I may be ready to start uploading to my YouTube channel again, and I’m planning on possibly starting things back up with a classic Costco shopping video.
What are your goals for this week?

Hi Lisa! Great list of goals! I’d love to know what kind of apple tree you have. We have a twisted apple tree which is actually two apple trees twisted together so they pollinate each other. It’s a Macintosh twisted with a honey crisp. We have yet to get a harvest, though. This will be our third season with this tree and I’m hoping it produces apples this year because, according to the nursery, this is the year it’s supposed to “leap.” We’ll see. Last year, we got nothing.
Our two pears trees gave us a harvest, though.
I hope your garden grows well this year and you get a good harvest! π
As for eating out with our son, he ended up wanting to go to Chick-fil-A, which was nice because we haven’t eaten inside there in quite a while. My son, of course, got the classic Chick-fil-A sandwich meal with a brownie for dessert. My husband and I both got their Southwest salad. It was delicious! I hope you have a fantastic weekend! Thanks for stopping by!!
