Hey, it’s June! Time flies!
Seriously, though, I hope this summer doesn’t fly by. It’s my favorite time of the year and I hope it lingers.
Anyway, here are my goals for the next week or so:
Family/Mothering Goals:
1. Take Breanna out for a special meal — My husband and I started taking one of our kids out to eat for a special meal each week throughout the holidays and we’ve decided to continue through 2022.
2. Do driving lessons with Breanna at least twice – She’s making good progress and driving around our neighborhood. We’re at the point where we don’t have to switch spots. She starts out driving and ends the lesson when she parks back in our driveway.
Personal Goals:
3. Lift hand weights 3 times
4. Walk at least 180 minutes — I plan to do this by walking on the treadmill and taking family walks outside on days when the weather is nice.
5. Read Bible
6. Journal twice
Home Management Goals:
7. Fill a bag with items to donate
8. Work on plans to attend a blog conference later this year – This is the first blog conference I’ll (Lord willing) be going to in a looooong time. I did “attend” a virtual blog conference earlier this year, but that doesn’t count because it wasn’t in person. Virtual conferences are not the same as attending live and in-person.
Business Goals:
9. Go through 5 business emails
10. Film, edit, and upload a video to my YouTube channel — I finally started publishing to YouTube again and, hopefully, I’ll keep it up.
What are your goals for this week?

So happy to hear that Breanna is doing well with driving! How exciting!
The week will be a busy one with much needed items needing to get done. Here are my 10 for the week:
1) I’ve finally decided to do home maintenance that has been neglected a long time. I’ll start with Installing a new exhaust fan in the bathroom (it’s been broken for 10+ years)
2) Once the fan is installed, I’ll make an appt to have the tub reglazed. With relatives visiting, they need a nice place to shower.
3) Pull weeds in the backyard.
4) Replace toilet parts.
5) Work out 5x/week. I wasn’t as active this week due to working more..
6) I have a window company coming out to show me options for shutters. Since the home has inefficient heating/cooling due to the design (we’ve had hvac try to make it better), shutters can help. These will be functional vs. decorative and I may only be able to do a few windows at a time (with approval from the HOA and costs).
7) I have a md. appt this week and know that one lab is not good but have taken steps to improve it.
8) Set up an online bill pay for a tenant.
9) Make an appt to see the eye doctor.
10) Once I visit the eye doctor, I need to bring paperwork to the cataract surgeon and schedule a consult. I’ve had surgery before but it’s time for the other eye now. Ugh

Hi Lisa! Thanks for sharing your goals! π I hope everything goes well with the eye doctor and surgery consult. I prayed for you.
We have extra weeds on our lawn this year, too. I’m not sure why but hubby and one of my sons has been working on spraying them.
I had no idea that you could have a tub reglazed. Now I know. Thanks for sharing because I wouldn’t have ever thought of it.
I haven’t been the best at exercising lately, either. I’m usually pretty good with getting on the treadmill, but it’s been harder for some reason lately.
Anyway, I hope you’re having a great week and you’re able to get everything on your list done!! Thanks for visiting! π
