November is here and I’m looking forward to Thanksgiving. Are you making plans for that day or visiting family?
It’s hard to believe that 2022 is almost over and a new year is right around the corner. I haven’t rushed this year one bit and I’ve just let it happen, so to speak.
I haven’t felt hurried this year and every month and new season came and went with a feeling of ease. I was sad to say goodbye to summer, I guess, because that’s my favorite season.
But, still, I welcomed fall and all the leaves. π
It’s not that there haven’t been trials and difficulties this year. There have been, but God is faithful. He brings of through everything masterfully with His perfect ways.
I’m 40 now, and my faith is rock solid. I know that I can trust God no matter what trials come our way. He began a good work in us and will see it through until the day of Christ Jesus. We are His.
Anyway, we’re off to the zoo today. The forecast is for a high of 75 degrees which is great because tomorrow it’s forecasted to be in the 30s until at least the middle of next week.
So, without further ado…
Here are my goals for the next week or so:
Family/Mothering Goals:
1. Take a family field trip to the zoo
2. Go to Hobby Lobby with Elisabeth
Personal Goals:
3. Lift hand weights 3 times
4. Walk at least 180 minutes — I plan to do this by walking on the treadmill and taking family walks outside.
5. Read Bible
6. Journal twice
Home Management Goals:
7. Fill a bag with items to donate
8. Write out our Thanksgiving menu
Business Goals:
9. Clean out inbox
10. Live stream a recipe video to my YouTube channel — I’m currently live streaming my weight loss journey and giving other tips and ideas for how to lose weight and feel full eating a low-calorie lifestyle way. I’m also sharing healthy grocery hauls and recipes if you’d like to join me. π
What are your goals for this week?

We have celebrated Thanksgiving for many years without family due to living many many miles away…
We did get to see my sister a few weeks ago, however. That was fun. And some of us will get to see the grandparents fairly soon. Just moments of family time whenever we can get together!
My top 10:
1) Read daily scripture
2) See how the mini greenhouse is doing outside. I’m waiting for a plastic sheeting to arrive to add more warmth.
3) Do laundry.
4) Decide on a menu this week. So far, we have beef enchiladas and chili. It’s been snowing and blustery.
5) Use up any stored food items as it’s becoming necessary due to inflation.
6) Wash the bedding.
7) Attempt to work out every day this week.
8) Work more hours without getting too exhausted (which then cuts into my gym time).
9) Try to be more understanding when others do not help out with job duties. I’m only one person and can’t do it all, so I must try my best and walk away without getting angry about it. High blood pressure is not wanted.
10) Look into window insulation kits for the house.
