Wow. Week 11. It’s been eleven weeks since I began this weight loss journey. Time does go quickly, doesn’t it?
Well, I’m happy to report that I’ve lost another pound. That puts me at a weight of 215lbs. and a total weight loss of 13.5 pounds thus far. I’ve come to terms with the fact that I’m not going to lose two pounds each week. I’m going to have to settle for half a pound to one pound of weight loss each week. I’m okay with that. As long as I continue to lose weight at this pace, I’ll be able to reach my 50 lb. weight loss goal for this year. π
I’ve picked the homemade frappe habit back up to every day. I couldn’t help it. Last week was a rough week because of all the doctor’s appointments and the constant pain that David was in. I’m telling you, none of my children has ever been in the kind of pain David was suffering for more than a week. It was horrible. It was like he was a stranger to us at times. That virus was wreaking havoc in David’s mouth and in our family. But I’m glad it’s on its was out, and David is back to being David. Thank you to the friends who prayed for us last week.
As promised, here is an updated picture of me so that you can see the progress so far. This first picture is of me when I started on this journey:
This is me today.
Are you on a journey to lose weight? I’d love to hear about it and know what you’re doing to get the weight off.

Dont give up the fight… some times it takes a little more time and effort to get passed the wall. It may start as just one pound a week, but soon enough you can see yourself moving up to 2 or more. And besides if you are going other exercises that increase muscle, that could be a factor on why you only see the 1 pound loss.

Sandra, you look great. I can tell you’ve lost weight by looking at your face, it looks brighter and slimmer. Keep up the good work!
