10 Goals for the Week

I did pretty well with last week’s goals and crossed 9 out of 10 things off my list. That’s not bad. 🙂

Here’s what I accomplished:

Family/Mothering Goals:

1. Continue to work on memorizing two verses of scripture as a family

2. Go on a fun family outing — I think I’m going to vlog this day because we’re going to a Give Kids the World Family Reunion and it should be a lot of fun for the kids. I’m not sure that there’s been a “GKTW Family Reunion” in the Chicago area in the past, but this will be our first time going to one and we can’t wait. We stayed at Give Kids the World Village in Florida for David’s Make-A-Wish trip. — I did vlog this day and will share that video soon on my YouTube channel.

Personal Goals:

3. Research home school curriculum

4. Walk a total of 60 minutes on the treadmill

5. Read at least 5 pages from each of these books: Toward a Growing Marriage by Gary Chapman, Be the Best Mom You Can Be by Marina Slayton, and Influencer Marketing for Dummies

6. Journal 2x

Home Management Goals:

7. Work on our budget

8. Clean up and organize Elisabeth’s Play-Doh area

Business Goals:

9. Shoot at least one new video for our family YouTube channel

10. Edit & upload at least one new video for my YouTube channel

Here are my goals for this week:

3. Start working on a Family Vision for our family

4. Walk a total of 80 minutes on the treadmill

5. Read at least 5 pages from each of these books: Toward a Growing Marriage by Gary Chapman, Be the Best Mom You Can Be by Marina Slayton, and Influencer Marketing for Dummies

6. Journal 2x

Home Management Goals:

7. List an item to sell

8. Catch up on all the laundry — After two weeks without a working dryer, we should finally have a new one installed tomorrow. Yay! I will have help catching up on the laundry because my husband, son, and daughter all pitch in in this area. Together, we’ll get it done.

Business Goals:

9. Shoot at least one new video for our family YouTube channel

10. Edit & upload at least one new video for my YouTube channel

P.S. If you’re keeping up with up our radon updates, I got the kit in the mail last week and got it set up in the basement right away. It’s been down there long enough (we purchased a short term radon kit), and tomorrow I’ll be mailing it back to the company for results. I should have them by next week’s update!
