Wow! August snuck up on us.
It seems like it was just the beginning of June and now here we are two months later and planning for back to homeschool.
I’m planning on getting the kids started back to school in early September, and, over the summer, I’ve been enjoying finding out about new resources to use in our homeschool. I’m looking forward to trying out some new curricula, books, and online resources. I want to incorporate more audiobooks this year, too. I think I’m going to get a subscription to Scribd and see how that works out for us.
Do you have kids going back to school? How is the planning/shopping going?
I still have more planning and purchasing to do before we get started so I’ve added that to my goals for the next week or so. π
Here are my goals:
Family/Mothering Goals:
1. Spend time planning for a family weekend away
2. Do driving lessons with Breanna
Personal Goals:
3. Lift hand weights 3 times
4. Walk at least 180 minutes — I plan to do this by walking on the treadmill and taking family walks outside.
5. Read Bible
6. Journal twice
Home Management Goals:
7. Fill a bag with items to donate
8. Work on homeschool plans for the upcoming school year and purchase books we’ll use
Business Goals:
9. Go through 5 business emails
10. Live stream a video to my YouTube channel — I’m currently live streaming my weight loss journey and giving other tips and ideas for how to lose weight and feel full eating 1,000 calories a day when you’re in the weight loss phase of this lifestyle.
What are your goals for this week?
