Last week was a long week. I don’t know if it’s because we were out of town for part of it or because all the kids ended up getting sick, it just felt drawn out.
I’m thankful for a fresh new week, and I’m excited about the possibilites this week holds. My schedule is jam-packed, but I don’t think it’s overwhelming. I’ve been working on not over-scheduling myself, and it’s starting to payoff. Though life has been a little crazy lately, I haven’t felt like pulling my hair out.
That’s a good thing. π
Anyway, here’s what I accomplished last week:
Family/Mothering Goals:
1.
Take a short family trip2.
Play outside with the kids at least 3 times this weekPersonal Goals:
3. Drink juice 2 days this week — We didn’t juice at all, but we did drink healthy fruit & veggie smoothies. They were thick, green, and had seeds in them. If that’s not healthy, I don’t know what is. π A huge thanks to my hubby for making our smoothies this week! Even my dad, who is visiting, liked his smoothie.
4.
Read 10 pages of the book Desperate5.
Workout at least 5 days this weekHome Management Goals:
6. Keep up with de-cluttering our home (getting rid of or donating 7 things per day) — I missed one day last week.
7.
Clean and organize the pantryBusiness Goals:

What are your goals for this week?

Sandra, I hope your kids are all doing better now.
I love your goal of a kitchen science project this week. I just had to have a talk with my son about why we don’t put toothpaste and hand lotion into the foaming hand wash. ( I didn’t throw out the hand soap either so our hands will be minty fresh for a while)
He is always wanting to experiment with what will happen with things. That was the reason behind him adding the toothpaste and lotion to the foaming hand soap. I really need to start doing some science experiments with him soon. So that our foaming hand soap will be safe. π
I used to do experiments with my daughter when she was his age and we just finished her high school Biology this year, dissections and all. She really loves science and experiments. I know my son would love doing experiments too. I need to make a plan for some this summer.
Hope you have a great productive week.

Lol, Shelly! Your son is too funny! Boys…yep.
It’s great that your kids love science experiments. They’re so easy to do at home (except for the dissection ones :)), I want to try to do them more often, especially now that the baby is a little older.
I hope you have a productive week, too!
