We’re expecting another snowstorm to roll through our area today. How’s the weather where you live?
Honestly, this winter hasn’t been bad as far as snow goes, but it isn’t over yet, is it? There’s still time for more snow before Spring is here but, personally, I’m hoping we continue with this more mild winter as far as snow is concerned. It has been bitterly cold, but I’ll take that over snow any day.
On the bright side, we were finally able to purchase a snowblower for the first time in our lives and Isaac and David are now old enough to do most of the snow clean up so that’s a bonus! My husband helps the boys and gives them instruction as needed. I haven’t had to pick up a shovel all year and I’m very thankful for that. π
Anyway, here are my goals for the next week or so:
Family/Mothering Goals:
1. Take David out for a special meal — My husband and I started taking one of our kids out to eat for a special meal each week throughout the holidays and we’ve decided to continue in 2022. Here’s a picture of Elisabeth from when we visited City Barbeque with her recently.
2. Do driving lessons with Breanna at least twice – She’s making good progress and we ended up getting our car magnets from Amazon. I have more than I need but that’s okay because Isaac will be learning to drive in the next few years.
Personal Goals:
3. Lift hand weights 3 times
4. Walk at least 180 minutes on the treadmill
5. Bible: Read another 4 chapters in Jeremiah in addition to my regular Bible reading
6. Journal twice
Home Management Goals:
7. Work on our taxes
8. Fill a bag with items to donate
Business Goals:
9. Write a blog post
10. Edit and upload a video to my YouTube channel — Someday, I’d like to start sharing again on my YouTube channel. I’m honestly not in a rush but I still want to keep this as a goal for now. This is because I have a video that I have partially edited and I really need to finish it and just publish it.
What are your goals?
