I’m looking forward to making Christmas cookies and monkey bread this week. π
I think I’m most excited about the monkey bread! I haven’t made it in years, and while the recipe is kind of time-consuming, the end result is worth the effort.
As for my goals, I crossed all of them off my list.
Here’s what I accomplished:
Family/Mothering Goals:

Continue to work on memorizing two verses of scripture as a family2.
Go see Christmas lights — There are two places in our area that put on great displays.Personal Goals:

Walk a total of 120 minutes on the treadmill5.
Read 10 pages of The Lord of the Rings (Part One) The Fellowship of the Ring by J.R.R. Tolkien6.

2. Bake and decorate Christmas cookies with the kids

4. Walk a total of 120 minutes on the treadmill
5. Finish reading The Lord of the Rings (Part One) The Fellowship of the Ring by J.R.R. Tolkien — I’ve loved reading this book, and I can’t wait to finish it before the end of the year.
