This week was a little busier than usual, so we only ended up uploading three videos. My goal is to upload at least four to five videos a week to our family YouTube channel, but since we had to head to Chicago on ThursdayΒ for an appointment for David, I had less time to film and edit, which was okay by me. π
But before I get to the videos, here are a few YouTube-related things I’ve observed:
- YouTube doesn’t always process your videos right away. This means that you can upload a video, but it won’t be visible on YouTube until it’s been fully processed. This past week, it took YouTube hours to process all of our videos. At first, this stressed me out because I thought something was wrong with the video I was trying to upload. It turns out, the video was fine. I just needed to give YouTube a lot more time.
We literally had a video stuck at “95% processed” for a huge part of the day. Now that I know this situation can happen and actually does happen to people all of the time, I don’t get stressed. I just let it be and wait until YouTube decides to process it.
- YouTube has a way of scanning videos for music and copyright infringement. Let me tell you, their system doesn’t always work, and we’ve had to file a dispute twice already. Basically, I had to let them know that we had the right or license to use a certain song or songs in our videos.
- Having a rough schedule for when to film, edit and upload videos is a great idea.
And now, here are this week’s videos:
Super Mario Plush Adventures Episode 6
Disney Sofia the First Mailbox Surprise with 15 MINI EGGS! Mini Characters from Disney World!
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Mailbox Surprise – Easter Eggs, Ninja Turtles Mashems, Lemonheads
Each week, here on The Sensible Mom, I write a weekly wrap-up post to share the videos we’ve uploaded since our last update. Please feel free to subscribe to our channel to stay even more up-to-date.
