10 Goals for the Week
We starting homeschooling again today, and it went better than expected.
I think it helped that we started today instead of on Monday.
I decided to wait for a couple of reasons. First, because I wanted to ease back into homeschooling and give the kids an extra day off. The second reason is because I had two appointments out of the house on Monday, and trying to homeschool around those wouldn’t have been the smartest decision. π
As for my goals, I crossed 9 out of 10 off my list.
Here’s what I accomplished:
Family/Mothering Goals:
1.
Continue to work on memorizing two verses of scripture as a family2.Β Show David how to play a game he got for Christmas and play it with him
Personal Goals:
3.
Do resistance band exercises 4x4.
Walk a total of 120 minutes on the treadmill5.Β

Making Christmas cookies and monkey bread last week was a lot of fun, and both recipes turned out so well. π
We also ended up making Christmas candy with saltines, butter, brown sugar, and chocolate chips. It was delicious, too! And it came out perfectly on my first try. I used the recipe here and followed her tips.
As for my goals, I crossed all of them off my list.

Add New Year’s goals to my calendar — You know, so I don’t completely forget about them by the end of January.— All of my New Year’s goals are now in realistic time blocks on my Google Calendar. Yay! π I plan on sharing some of my 2016 goals and maybe even a peek at my Google calendar in a blog post soon. Truly, after trying out lots of different planners, apps, and processes over the years, I now know what REALLY works for me in terms of goal-setting and getting things done. It’s my Google Calendar. From “Make Dinner” to “Edit & Upload” our latest video to “School with the kids,” it’s all on my calendar.
