Last week was an interesting, out-of-the-ordinary week, with the book launch. It was fun, though, and I managed to work on projects and get some of my goals accomplished in the midst of it.
Here’s how I did:
Family/Mothering Goals:
1. Memorize the first two of the Ten Commandments(you shall have no other gods before Me, and you shall not make unto yourselves any graven image)2. Be off the computer from 8-9pm when the kids are getting ready for bed (working on making this a habit) – I started the week well, but on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, I ended up being on the computer at some point during 8-9pm for work. I wasn’t on for the whole hour, maybe 15-20 minutes to check on some things. I’m going to back to being off the computer during this time, though.
Personal Goals:
3. Drink juice at least 2 days this week4. Read my bible everyday this week – There was at least one day where I didn’t open a physical bible to read it, but having this as a goal has been very positive, overall.
5. Exercise with the kidsHome Management Goals:
6. Help the kids get a handle on the LEGO mess in their room.
7. Work on child-proofing, because Elisabeth is officially mobile.Business Goals:
8. Decide whether or not to sign up to do Kindle Select for my ebook (basically, the ebook is exclusively available on Kindle for 90 days and Amazon offers some perks)
9. Fill out my author page on Amazon
10. Blog at least 4 times this week
And now for this week’s goals:
Family/Mothering Goals:
1. Create reading goals for the kids. The three oldest will be doing the BookIt! Program.
2. Be off the computer from 8-9pm when the kids are getting ready for bed (working on making this a habit)
Personal Goals:
3. Go to bed by 11:30pm
4. Read my bible everyday this week
5. Exercise with the kids
Home Management Goals:
6. Make more conditioner and body scrub
7. Clean and wipe down the bathroom and kitchen sinks
Business Goals:
8. Go over the upcoming blog conference schedule with Ruben and make a plan for how we’ll work things
9. Attend a blog conference and network with other bloggers (After almost 4 years as a blogger, I’m going to my very first conference. So exciting!)
10. Blog at least 5 times this week
What goals do you have for this week?Β
