I have good news this week! After not losing any weight for more than two weeks, I’m finally down another 1.5 lbs. I weighed myself Sunday morning, and I was 213.5 lbs., so, thus far I’ve lost a total of 15 pounds in the last 14 weeks.
I’m now down to my lowest weight in four years. The last time I was this weight was just before I became pregnant with our third child, Isaac. As far as my diet goes, I’ve been eating lots of vegetables – mostly cooked. I haven’t eaten any meat (except for lunch meat when we went to the zoo) in at least two weeks, and I’ve cut back on my salt intake. Salt seems to really kill weight loss for me, not to mention it makes feel puffy and bloated.
I did workout three days last week, and we went to the zoo one day last week. I like our zoo days because then the whole family gets in quite a bit of walking. We normally leave around the time our feet start to feel achy which is about 3 hours into our zoo time. I don’t think we’ll be visiting the zoo this week, though. I have lots of school projects to get caught up on before the semester ends next month. π This does means good things are in store for the blog, though! I have to do a podcast – which I will be doing on my journey to becoming a work-at-home mom, and I’m also going to do some kind of video although I haven’t nailed down the topic for this one yet.
This week I’m going to stay on track with my eating and hope for another pound to leave me by next week….
