This week’s update is going to be a two-week update since I didn’t post any updates last week. For week 8, I lost 0 pounds. π And for week this week’s update, I’ve lost .5 pounds. It’s something.
I know that part of the problem is that I haven’t been eating the healthiest in the last few weeks. We celebrated two birthdays in our family which involved two cakes and pizza, twice. AND, I’ve finally come to the hard conclusion that I actually have to stop drinking frappes every day instead of just saying it. I’m now only having frappes nearly every other day. I say nearly because I totally forgot I had a frappe yesterday before it was too late today. I totally thought yesterday was my frappe-free day. Whoops! π Someone’s got to drink it! But I promise not to have any tomorrow.
Anyway, I’m already getting back to eating healthier, and now that the weather is shaping up, we are going to get outside and walk a lot more often. We’ve already taken two family walks in the last week, one to the park and one to Walgreens. I love that Walgreens is so close to us! I’m hoping to lose at least one pound by next week’s update, but overall, I’m happy to still be losing and inching closer to my goal of losing 50 pounds this year.
