Hi, guys! I’m getting rid of stuff in today’s video and participating in the #OneBox2016 Challenge being hosted by Rachel of Sweet and Simple Home. I hope you enjoy the video and seeing all the stuff that’s leaving our home. π
10 Goals for the Week
Once again, I crossed 9 out of 10 goals off my list for last week.
I didn’t end up getting outside to play with the kids, but that’s mainly because last week was a bit different since my dad was visiting us from Mexico. He actually finished up with his visit and all of the business that he needed to get done here early, so he took a flight home on Saturday evening. It was great catching up with him, and we look forward to having him visit again later this year. π
And remember my computer issues?
They’re fixed now, and I’m hoping the new hard drive will solve all of the problems my computer was having. It’s certainly running a lot faster, and it felt brand new after Ruben brought it home from the Apple store.
As for my goals, here’s what I accomplished last week:
Family/Mothering Goals:
1.
Continue to work on memorizing two verses of scripture as a family2. Play outside with the kids
Personal Goals:
3.
Do resistance band exercises 4x4.
Walk a total of 200 minutes on the treadmill — I’m increasing this goal, and just in time because we indulged in a big family birthday meal today.5.Β
Read at least 5 pages from each of these books: Toward a Growing Marriage by Gary Chapman, Be the Best Mom You Can Be by Marina Slayton, and Influencer Marketing for Dummies (I won this book at a Twitter party, and I’m loving it!)6.

10 Goals for the Week
I crossed 9 out of 10 of my goals off my list for last week.
Once again, I didn’t finish my 2016 goals post, but I did make some progress on it. I think my problem is that mentally I keep telling myself that it’s going to be difficult to explain exactly how I work my Google Calendar. I feel like it’s better to show you how I use it and not try to explain it in a blog post. So I’ve decided that instead of trying to spell out how I use my Google Calendar, I’m going to create a video and show you how I use it for every single day of my life.
I’m hoping to get that video filmed soon, but my computer is acting crazy again so it’ll probably be a week or so before I can get that uploaded to YouTube and shared in a blog post. At the moment, I’m using the computer we won at a Twitter party, but it doesn’t have the movie editing software, iMovie, that I use to edit videos.
So…I’m going to wait to film, edit, and upload until after my computer gets repaired.
And actually, my husband, Ruben, took Herb (my computer) to the Apple store today and we found out that I need a new hard drive. Thankfully, since my computer canΒ be considered a dinosaur as far as laptops go, it won’t cost much to replace it. But my laptop won’t be fixed until the end of this week.
Oh, well! There’s all that happening, and then my dad will be visiting from Mexico tomorrow. And I’m not quite sure how long he’ll be staying since he likes to buy one-way tickets. π
