This is a fun, FROZEN Olaf Surprise Egg! It's made entirely out of Play-Doh!

This past week, we’ve been busy creating a lot of fun videos!

We also experimented with our videos by adding in different types of music. We purchased a couple tracks of happy feeling tunes from Audio Jungle. And we recently found out that YouTube offers a lot of free music that we can use, too, so I’m sure we’ll be using some of their tunes in future videos! πŸ™‚

10 Goals to Tackle This Week

Last week was mostly productive.

I feel like I got a lot done because I scheduled it and then actually did the work. πŸ™‚

Here’s what I accomplished last week:

Family/Mothering Goals:

1. Continue to work on memorizing two verses of scripture as a family — We didn’t all practice the verses.

2.Β Plan a fun family day

Personal Goals:

3. Do resistance band exercises 4x

4. Walk a total of 140 minutes on the treadmill

5. Read 20 pages of The Lord of the Rings (Part One) The Fellowship of the Ring by J.R.R. Tolkien — This is a long book with small print, so it’s going to take me a while to read through it. However, I love the story and know that it’ll be worth it.

6. Journal 2x

Home Management Goals:

7. Unpack one old, worn out box of pictures in the basement and place them in a new box

8. Scrub & clean the kitchen sink

Business Goals:

9. Work on YouTube channel header — You can see our updated header here.

10.Β Spend 1 hour on my blog redesign — I only ended up working on this for about 15 minutes. Instead, we spent a lot of time filming an intro & outro for our new YouTube channel, which ate up a lot of time. We even experimented with a green screen and wearing green “gloves” but things didn’t quite turn out like we’d hoped. Oh well! We’ve been learning a lot more about creating & editing videos, and things can only get better from here. πŸ˜‰

Here are my goals for this week:

Family/Mothering Goals:

1. Continue to work on memorizing two verses of scripture as a family

2.Β Plan a fun family day

Personal Goals:

3. Do resistance band exercises 4x

4. Walk a total of 160 minutes on the treadmill — I’m increasing this goal by 20 minutes.

5. Read 20 pages of The Lord of the Rings (Part One) The Fellowship of the Ring by J.R.R. Tolkien

6. Journal 2x

Home Management Goals:

7. Unpack one old, worn out box of ‘stuff’ in the basement and place stuff in a new box

8. De-clutter the area under my desk

Business Goals:

9.Β Edit outro for new YouTube channel videos

10.Β Spend 1 hour on my blog redesign

10 Goals to Tackle This Week

I crossed everything off of my list of goals for last week.

The small way I’ve ‘found’ more time in my days is to be disciplined about when I hop on Facebook. I try only to check it once or twice early in day and then again after the kids go to bed.

Honestly, by checking it less often, I’ve found that I don’t miss much. I think, instead, I end up heading down fewer rabbit trails during the day, which means I have more time for my to-do list. πŸ˜‰

Here’s what I accomplished last week:

Family/Mothering Goals:

1. Continue to work on memorizing two verses of scripture as a family

2.Β Plan a fun family day

Personal Goals:

3. Do resistance band exercises 4x

4. Walk a total of 140 minutes on the treadmill

5. Finish readingΒ The Most Important Place on EarthΒ (affiliate link) by Robert Wolgemuth — I’m excited to be finishing up this book, but I do think I’ll read it over again in the future. My favorite takeaway from last week’s reading: Treat your words with care.Β 

6. Journal 2x

Home Management Goals:

7.Β Spend 30 minutes cleaning/organizing the basement — This has become a fun activity to do with the kids over the weekend.

8.Β Sew items in our home that need it

Business Goals:

9.Β Create custom thumbnails for two YouTube videos & update the description box of two videos

10.Β Spend 1 hour on my blog redesign
