Today, I’m going to show you how to make a delicious 100-year-old apple roll recipe from the very old American Cookery Cookbook. I wasn’t sure how the apple roll would turn out but it was fantastic! We didn’t have any leftovers for the next day. πŸ™‚

When it comes to the taste of the apple roll, it’s very similar to apple pie but this recipe is a lot easier and less time consuming than a traditional apple pie recipe.

I also think it’s a great recipe if you want to make a dessert similar to apple pie but not spend all the time and effort it would take to make a pie. I’ll definitely be making this recipe again, and I hope you’ll let me know if you try it, too.

As I mentioned, the original recipe, which I tried to follow as closely as I could, is 100-years-old and comes from the American Cookery Cookbook which is found online and free to use.
